Farmer's Market First Impressions

This past weekend was my first time at the local farmer's market near my school. The market is a gathering of different local vendors selling everything from fresh produce, to baked goods, to homemade products like soap and lip balm. It was a little overwhelming seeing how much I could buy, but I'm appreciative that I have a few more opportunities to go before the season's over (that and I realized that I had only brought $4 in cash with me!). I am so glad to have found a new activity this fall; I can't wait to go back!

Fall 2015: Part 1

Small Group Photos 4

I was excited that my final core group photo shoot of this spring was a returning group. I photographed these women last spring and had a blast, so it was fun to photograph them again. Being in a core group for the past few years of college has made the women super close with each other- one of my favorite parts of the shoot was when they all started singing Nelly Furtado's "I'm Like a Bird" in sync. Some of them recently graduated, so it was bittersweet that this was my last photoshoot with them (for now), but I'm thankful for that they entrusted me to capture this special time of their life.

With this past spring came more core group photo shoots (see past core group shoots here, herehere and here)! It was bittersweet because it was my last season for the time being of taking core group photos.
This time didn't disappoint. These girls are beautiful inside and out and their love for each other was so evident, even in our short half hour shoot. I was honored to be a part of their celebration of their friendship.
